Upgrade-Turbo PnP-Turbo LM500 turbocharger

I wanted an Upgrade-Turbo (APR, CTS, TTE525R or TTH480) for the MK7 engine in my Leon Cupra. Fully original look (important due to the police here) and plug&play installing (just the two original VW gaskets are needed) were important. I bought the German PnP-Turbo LM500 which is a modified VW IS38 Turbo with the most stable TD05 basic unit bearing added for endless trackdays and drags - Installing took me two hours. The car (Golf 7R engine CJXC) runs well. See slide show and video channel on youtube:

Full acceleration in the 6th gear (DSG):

"192 miles per hour??? :-O"

Yes, but it is limited at 310kmh / 192mph, however, because the DSG intelligently protects when reaching 7000rpm in the 6th gear automatically in all Golf R7 /Audi S3 / Cupra engines.

By the way: 310 kmh is nothing special on German highways because all young drivers are highly trained in an expensive 40- hour-training at the age of 18 to be able to deal with such speed...and the highways (e.g. Autobahn A2) are less crowded...Come, see and drive...

MTR Performance VW/Audi Tuning has done the job. Seems the only guy in Europe who has CMD flash live mapping

He changes the map live on the dyno? Not makes changes flashes then runs it again?

Yes, he sits in the car on the dyno and consequently saves lots of time because he does not have to go to his office after each run anymore or wait for flashing done. Therefore, he gets more cars done each day. It was great to observe him (the tuner is called Marcel Tembrake from MTR Performance Germany). Just ask him how he organizes everything. The dyno was done at TIJ-Power.

It will be amazing if that gets release. I have 6 CMD flash tools.
He is well known and very reputable, on of the first tuners that could tune for a big turbo on MQB and the first to tune the new TTRS. You are in good hands.

I wanted a TTE470/TTE525R (I had TTH480 before) first but after hearing they only install a bigger wheel and always keep the old and weak thrust axial bearing, which is responsible for many IS38 crashes - see known forums and facebook entries, I decided on the PnP LM500. Before developing the LM500 the engineers told me that they first disassembled a TTE525R and then immediately knew what to change and replace. (see and compare all IS38 failures and especially upgrade chargers in this informative forum and understand how they die and how they blow up the engine later in a kamikaze manner). It took them three months time to design and combine it with the most endurable racing axial bearing + two bigger wheels + turbine shaft called TD05 by Mitsubishi - proven over the years to be way more endurable, which convinced me in the ending. Even if the TD05 part is extremely expensive, the prices of TTE / TTH / CTS / PnP / APR and Loba are very similar. Maybe it is competition and Americans are the best in doing business.
