Nogaro Alloys corrosion claim

I have just bought a MK 7GTD 2 weeks before the end of Manufacturers warranty and put it in for a free health check to be able to claim for anything under the manufactures warranty i asked them to look at some corrosion on the wheels i am aware that if you kerb an alloy and the corrosion starts at that point you cannot claim however i have corrosion at say 6 o'clock and the alloy has slight nick at 12 o'clock and they are fobbing me off by saying the water will run down into that area i am looking to claim for 3 alloys with similar issues.

Has anybody else been fobbed off by this crap excuse or have you pushed it further up the chain to customer service for example.?

Paint chip is normal after years of use. Normal wear and tear. Your wheel will function just fine

6 and 12 o'clock look the same when you spin the wheel 180 degrees.
