I have a set of DG Springs coming (part # 5G4 071 677 E).
I'm buying these off the BST and the stamps on the springs are:
MUB 071 675 B (1050)
MUB 071 676 C (890)

I need help choosing right springs! Axle loads for my car are 1060kg/930kg.
VW offers 1050kg/890kg and 1010kg/890kg, none of which matches my car specs (2.0 TDI 4Motion)

You're fine with 1050kg/950kg (actually these are 5G4 071 677 E).
You simply get little lower than common with DGs, which is no issue
as long as you like it. IF you'd like to raise the rear a bit later, you'd
just need to retrofit TT spring pads, though I'd guess this won't be
necessary. Don't miss posting some pics.

I have DG Springs mounted with Koni Yellow Sports on my MK6 Golf TDI which goes back in a couple of weeks hopefully. I'm thinking about putting my stock equipment back on the car if I can find a buyer for the upgrades. Koni Yellows hold a lifetime warranty and have adjustable dampers. If someone knows hat the equipment will fit an MK7 maybe there's a deal to be had.

A little bit confused..by checking online parts catalogues 5G4 071 677 E has load of 1050kg/890kg. I can't find 1050kg/950kg you suggested?

If the information given somewhere earlier in this thread is correct,
Volkswagen spec the springs (5G4 071 677 E) with 950 kg in the US.
Still the same springs! Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with running
them, no safety issue, they will ride fine fitted to your TDI 4motion.

On a side note, does your car come with 50 mm struts = steel swivels
or with 55 mm struts = aluminium swivels? If it's got the 55 mm ones,
you could run GTI or R dampers, which are great value if purchased
cheaply in used but near-new condition. Both will match DG springs per-
fectly. The same applies to Koni Str.t, though you'd want to purchase
them new.

Being 4motion it's 90kg heavier (mostly over rear axle), so I was only afraid of some reverse rake due to added weight.

It has steel swivels for 50mm. Anyways, our roads are so bad I can't go beyond anything other than springs

Nothing's easier than rectifying "reverse rake". Again, I don't think you'll need it,
but swapping spring pads for the thicker TT ones is easy. You don't even need
having another alignment done on rear.
I agree that about 60 kg will sit on rear, while about 30 kg will add to the front.

Stronger dampers could be a particularly sensible choice even more so when the
roads are poor. Not sure though. Certainly GTI and R dampers won't fit 50 mm
swivels.

I can't find much info on this, so I'll ask here. Are 255's possible on DG springs with an 18'' wheel? I know there are guys fitting them on lower cars with camber kits, but wondering if camber kit is needed for the conservative drop on the DG springs.

PS: I know there are the people that preach "235 is all you need", but I love the look of wider tires and want at least 245s. But 255s would be awesome.

Awesome, but 255s will rub. Spring don't matter IF it'll rub, just how often,
as it'll also rub with stock ride height, it just won't rub that often. Remember
the position of the bump stops - and that's what makes your tires 'stop' their
travel - doesn't change. It remains the same with any sort of springs you fit.

Hi, I need advice with DG springs. I have VW MK7 2015 2.0 TDI 150hp highline version, manual transmission with 4 doors. Which DG springs do I need to install? Will I need to buy TT rear pads because of reverse rake? Thanks for the help!
