Odd handling after suspension upgrade

Recently i swapped my stock suspension for vwr springs and bilstein b8 shocks. Handling is good on dry pavement but when its wet my rear end slides around on road markings / crosswalks which it didnt do before. When swapping i torqued everything to specs and i made sure the bushings were loaded when tightening. I didnt bother with alignment after , but now im thinking it might be caused by that. Maybe the rear toe is out of specs?. Can bad alignment do that?

As above. Pay to have a full geometry and alignment if I was you. It will cost you more in tyres and worn parts if you dont

Even if an alignment doesn't cure this (which like everyone else said, it almost certainly will) you should get one regardless. Your toe will be off from changing the ride height, camber will be uneven/out of spec in the rear especially, etc. If you swapped these parts to improve handling, an alignment is key in that process.

rear toe out can make the car tail happy and possibly unstable
