fitted the prets today i must say i wasent to sure after seeing the car with black and polished but they are growing on me just need som vwr springs then im done

Looks good. Also looks like the 7.5 sits lower than the 7. I wonder if that's as accurate observation.

This maybe a dumb ass question but will larger wheels mess up the speedo calibration?

1 revolution of the drive shaft and attached wheel will move the car an increased distance due to the increased circumference of the wheel.

To maintain same diameter the 19" have a shorter side wall.
18" uses 225/40R18 and 19" use 235/35R19.
With 19" the ride may be more harsh and less pot hole forgiving.
19" also has a good cost increase for wheel and tires over 18".

Prets with 235/35-19 wheels are within 1% of the OE wheel size, so the speedo wont be off by too much.

If he went with a 40 series tire, then we are talking about a >3% difference, so the speedo would be noticeably off.
