Requesting VCDS help in Greater Boston!

I have a vcds micro can and I have previously done some coding, but I'm running into a roadblock adapting my led tail amber wiring harness.

I am having trouble communicating with the central electronics module channel 09. My cable tells me that it is "unable to communicate with address 09."

So I am trying to troubleshoot what my problem is here and whether or not it is my micro can vcds cable or a wonky control module.

If anyone in Greater Boston is willing to let me pull into their driveway and plug their vcds cable into my car to help me figure this out, I've got a 6 pack of your beer of choice waiting for you!
