Wow, those wheels look fantastic! What are the specs on them?

Thanks. Wanted something that looked at bit VAG.
18x8 RS6 style with VW caps.
Tyres are currently 225/40 R18.
Just waiting on some 235/40R18 as they will be more comfortable and protect the rims better.

Wide, I like your car. I've seen several of your posts going back to when you added the current set of alloy wheels. They certainly added to the car's appearance. And, by posting the picture above ^, I assume you're looking for input regarding the red stripe.

The issue with the addition of any stripe along the side of the Mk7 Golf is there's no logical aesthetic endpoint. Perhaps if it were longer and tapered it would look better, but in my humble opinion, the current arrangement looks odd, unfinished.

You might want to consider running the stripe lower, immediately above the valance panel. That way the stripe would follow the upward taper at the rear of the back door and end there. Just a suggestion.

[Edit: See, for example, bluedoggiant's post (#529) in this thread:

Agreed, don't think the red sits well on that grey in a place where it is so noticeable

Neuspeed RSe 12, 18x8.5, only 19 lbs each, no spacers etc needed, can use orig VW lugs and VW center caps fit perfectly.

Sweet! These are the wheels that I’m leaning towards. Looks like stock suspension? This is the same setup I’d be running for a while when I pull the trigger (at least till after warranty when I’ll mess with suspension) with same OEM rack and a fairing. Only difference is my GTI is black.

The 18x8.5s are 20lbs I believe, and the 18x8 are 19
