Hi everyone,
Here is something that bothered me since I've got my car (mid-2015).
Each time the Stop&Start system kick-in at a stop/red-light, the headunit/Multimedia system will stop* for 1/2sec when the engin restart.
*:screen become black and no sound.(audio/video/navigation)
The music/video restart where it was directly but it is quite anoying when you're listening a good tune...
So, I know the engine need extra Amp. to restart but isn't there some transistor or something else preventing the quick stop of the headunit ?
I am considering to switch to a bigger capacity battery (golfdave diy is well-filled) or find a way to add a transistor to the power-line of the head-unit to erase this power-off stuff when the engine restart...
Any idea ?
Anyone with same problem from the Stop&Start feature ?
PS: I have a 10" android headunit installed from the car-seller directly when I bought the car, so I was wondering if people with 6/8" basic display also experienced this.
Or if it that my Android HeadUnit need a little more Amp. than the factory setup, so that cause the quick power-stop.
