Transmission mount

I recently bought a transmission mount from bfi I started removing battery, filter and intake box etc etc. I get the to the ecu and there is a metal cover on which would just not come off nor could I find the clips or screws of whatever to take it off. I tried everything I could and was unsuccessful. I put everything back and called it a fail. I have the mk7 2016 1.8t.

Does anyone have any idea how the hell this metal guard on the ecu can removed????!

I have the same thing. i was going cut a slot in the head of the rivet and use a slotted bit on a wrench
