tried fitting the r grill to the 7.5 totally different fitment back to the drawing board
Are you trying to fool people into thinking you have an R, or just like that grill better and would change the emblem?

i just wated to debadge the grill as you cant with the honeycomb the vw badge is different aswell there is something behind it ill just leave it untill the 7.5 r grill is available
I believe that's the radar unit that used to be in the lower grille. Very happy they did this... much tidier!!

I wonder if the "radar badge" could be swapped into a regular MK7 to allow for relocation of the current unit (lower grill). Are they the same size?

I had heard the sensors were in the front badge now. Hadn't seen pics before. So bad not modify the front badge now then? No inlays or platidip or change of colors?

I think you may be able to put some vinyl film over it, but not much more than that. Certainly won't be changing colors via inlays anymore if it's not 3d.
