The entire point of forums like this is for the obsessive worrying types to have a place to come and wring their hands and worry and obsess with other similar types over whether they're DOING IT RIGHT!

I say, just change the oil every day. You can never be too careful.

I hope in addition to magnetic drain plugs, you guys are wrapping the oil filter cartridges in tissues to improve the filtration.

Those engineers at VW AG have no idea what they're doing!

Oil extractor. No plug needs to be removed/replaced ever. Since Audi dealers use extractor method only, I'm assuming the VW dealers would do the same???
