So I missed the train for the Helix box sell off, now it's back up to MSRP so I'm looking at alternatives.

Coming from a E9x, what I noticed most was the lack of bass as the E9x had underseat woofers, 160mm if I recall correctly.

I was looking at an 8" underseat enclosure with 150W amp from Kicker. Anyone have experience with these before? Am I required to wire it up to the battery or can I add a fuse and run it from the fuse box? Lastly, is it possible to run two of them whilst tapping into the correct speaker wire simultaneously?

Thanks in advance.

I had that exact unit in my last car('11 golf TDI) but couldn't fit it under the seat and had to put it in the trunk. Bass was pretty good considering the size of the unit. I did wire it to the battery which wasn't a big deal since I wired an amp for my components as well. I still have the unit. I haven't put it in my '17 GTI because I was thinking of getting something a little more powerful. If you're interested in it, let me know.
