Dashboard display - 3D look

Hi,

I see some editions have a more 3D look on the dashboard display, than mine. This is video is from a 2013 model. Firmware upgrade?

I asked the dealer to program the carbon or honeycomb pattern on the display.
Likely can also be selected through VCDS.
Others might have more details.
Not sure but newer models might have this as a menu option.

yes, can be programmed through obd11 or vcds

is there a how to on this as i have an obd11 pro but have only used it for fault scanning ?

There's 2 whole threads (at least) regarding programming.

You can search obdeleven or vcds.

There's also a dedicated forum for obd11.

Ok I have followed the instructions and changed to version 2 but I don’t seem to see a difference does anyone have some pictures of what it should look like
I also increased the brightness of the reversing lights
