GTI in India

That's not a GTI. That's a regular VW Polo (1.2TSI or a 1.5TDI) modded to look like a GTI (yes we have plenty of these ricer kids out here 
)
That said, we do get the Polo GTI in India with the 1.8TSI engine with the 7 speed DQ200. GTI sold in India comes only in a 3 door version.
And also the Skoda Octavia Mk3 vRS with the 2.0TSI engine mated to the DQ250. The Skoda is almost a copy paste job of the VW Golf GTI PP version.
Both cost ridiculous amounts of money in India due to our tax structure.

It is a GTI but not Golf GTI. VW launched Polo GTI as a limited edition GTI in India with some extra goodies.
