So I installed a new set of plugs in my 2015 R. I put them in Saturday, the car drives great, idle, throttle response seems to even pull better through the gears. Then I noticed a gas smell when stopped at a stop light. So I searched the net when I got home and found a bunch of articles online saying about re-torquing the plugs. So I went and torqued them to 22ftls which is what I found to be correct for our cars. Now the gas smell is not as bad but I still smell it. Also I did not use anti-seize since we don't need it now and days according to the dealer parts person.
Anyone else have any issues like this and how to fix it?
I'm going to bring tools to work tomorrow and make sure they didn't loosen up at all.
