Brake wear indicators Mk7

I have a mk7 gtd

I’m aware the front has a wear indicator that will pop up when it’s time to change

But what about the rear?

Am I also right in saying only one of he front pads will have an indicator (because you change in pairs anyway)?

There is an indicator wire on right front brake inner pad on my Golf R. Nowhere else.

Some cars will have a wear indicator front and back, just two for all 4 set, weird that VW don't have them on the rears

So we can’t buy brake pads with rear sensors because they’re not even programmed from factory in some cars?

they may not even have the plugs on the rear.

My 2016 GTI, non-PP, doesn't have them front or rear
