I have been lurking for awhile seeing what kinds of mods I want to do to my GTI and I've been thinking quite a bit on a slightly heavier shift knob.
I've recently come from a Mazdaspeed 3 where I had tried different shift knobs. Stock for the Speed3 was 266g. I had one that was 625g but that didn't really feel comfortable for me both in shape and weight. Stock weight seemed perfect.
Fast forward to the GTI and I find stock a bit too light. On looking I found that I like the look/height of the BFI GSB and the weight seems like a bit more but not too heavy so that's right up my ally.
That said, I've read/seen how much of a pain swapping shift knobs can be so I was hoping that there was someone in the GTA that had one of these that wouldn't mind letting me see/feel how it is in their car before I buy one of my own.
