Oil Level light came on last Sunday around 27365 km.
Decided to do an oil change myself instead of topping it off.
Everything OEM, Oil 5w-40 liquid moly.
Oil level light comes on even though the level is fine, I have reset oil service and the other service minder by holding down the odometer and starting the engine. Am I missing something? should I disconnect the battery to reset the sensor?

I do not have OBD 11, maybe I will give it a shot.
Oil level is in the correct range.
I check my oil weekly, usually Sunday fill up.

I am going to check it out today, see if the sensor is in and doing its job.

Liquimoly is most definitely vw approved.
Both 5w40 leichtlauf and synthoil have 502 approvals. I work for a supplier that carries the product...i have the certification from vw on my cpu at work.
