Possible problem after DSG service

I did a service today to my car with the 6-speed DQ250 DSG box.
I jacked up the car so that it was level, i then proceeded to remove the filter and oil plug + plastic tube.
Drained all the oil and measured it to be about 4,3liters.
I then put the plastic tube and oil plug back into the gearbox loosly, top filled the box with 5liters of oil.
Reinstalled the oil filter and housing.
Started the car, cycled through gear lever positions and ran it until the oil was 35c,.
Removed the oil plug to drain excess oil.

After i had drained the excess oil i then measured the amount, it seems as if i drained about 1liter of oil.
Which means i just have put back around 4liters of oil into the box, which doesnt really seem to make sense..

Could i get some of your opinions?
Should i worry?
Did i do anything wrong?

Fyi for anyone who wanna try this themselves.

The engine should be running when we you remove the oil plug.
I talked to a vag mechanic today and he confirmed this.
If you drain the oil through the plug when it is off you will drain to much fluid.

Yepp thats the only DIY that ive seen that mentions to keep the car running..
To bad i didnt see that before and no other DIY mentions it.
Good thing that i did measure the amount of oil that i got out of the box though
