Any pics of your dash cam?

I'm trying to see what it looks like visibily outside and inside the car. I'm thinking about getting the one of those box looking ones.. like this - http://www.thedashcamstore.com/a118c-b40c-discreet-full-1080p-single-lens-capacitor-dashcam/

I also noticed in most install guides it recommends crimping a connector inside a butt connector, any reason not to just solder the wire ends together and heat shrink it? I have a well made Hakko soldering iron.

I have a ROAV C1. And while it’s not my favorite, for the price I paid, it’ll do. Here is a photo of it looking sat the car. I have it mounted behind the mirror and when I the car you can’t tel it’s there.

It isn’t hardwired. It’s made my Anker so it came with a 2 usb plug for the cigarette lighter.

I don't have a picture of it mounted. In all honesty you have to look real hard to notice it.
I use a Vantrue X1 and an Add-a-Fuse (Mini USB). I wired it into the DRL. No splicing required.
