Smell with Heater On

This is my second time using the heater, and I smell plastic melting/burning kind smell from the vent with the heater on high temp.
Is this because of the aftermarket DP?
Where do I have to check?

Does the smell go away after a minute? I know the first time i turned on my heater this year i got a funky smell but it went away pretty quick.

If it can be described as more of a foot odor smell, you just need to replace your cabin filter.

It could be the cabin air filter is dirty or you could have a nest in it.

Open your hood an check for a nest and clean away any leaves in the engine bay!

common, change the cabin filter. If needed spray some lysol in the system to kill any mold
