Helix - Capacitor discharge popping noise

Hello everyone,

After the Helix sound upgrade, has anybody noticed a noise in the speakers like a capacitor discharge pop? This would be approximately 20-30 seconds after the engine is turned off. I know, most of us get out of the car sooner.

Double check your connections.
Did you install the small keeper with the re-pin?

Are you talking about the pin that keeps the wires from touching in the smaller connector? If so, yes, I put that in.

That is what I was talking about.
Sorry I can't help.
I sit in my car after turning it off at work regularly.
If you push the power button after removing key it will turn on the radio.
I will sit there for up to 15 minutes sometimes... never heard the sound you are talking about.

After you turn off the engine and before you turn the radio on (with the engine off)... within this time interval (everything off for about 30 seconds) there is audible pop from the speakers. Almost as though some residual voltage has just discharged. Have you waited a while before turning the radio after you cut the engine?

i heard a similar sound when I turned the ignition on yesterday. First time I had heard it.
