Sat nav retrofit?

Hey all,

Going to be changing my mk6 GTD to a mk7 GTD this weekend.

Just wondered could you help me..

The car I'm getting doesn't have sat nav and I've read various forums about retro fitting nav and some say u can and some say u can't.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I have no idea but what I would say, although convenient and smart to have it, as indeed my car has, it's a rather poor implementation of navigation compared say, with Tom Tom. In a way I rather TT did VW's satellite navigation and not their current suppliers.

U can but it will cost. Check website called hazzy dayz they just fitted my rear led taillights

They do a kenward retrofit in most dealers I think the whole cost including fitting was £599.

Cheers guys. I retrofitted nav and cruise control etc to mk6's etc but I'm assuming a mk7 isn't as simple as buying the screen and brain and just install it?
