Cheap alternative is to go local junkyard, find a VW, pull the oil cap, drill a hole and screw in top of your favorite soda bottle. I bet it'll be dirt cheap.

I got a new cap at work for about $10. Another $1 for the 2 liter Dr. Pepper bottle from Wally. Cheap. Works on the wife's GLI too. Disposable paper funnels for everything else.

You guys what are you going to do with the $18.26 you saved!

17 cheesburgers or 2 quarts of oil.

On a serious note, I spilled oil on my first oil change. Oil was over the #1 spark plug area and down the belt area. I will invest in one for the next oil change.

Look at the Assenmacher (OFVW2013) for a good one. 50 bucks, 10 a year if you keep it five years. Way less than a factory muffler, ahem.

What I love about it, beyond that it works, is how it fits right in with the no hassle oil change setup of the car to begin with.
