Driver gear springs.. I already own them. Part of me wants more like a 1.5-2" drop instead of the 1", but realistically it will be better for daily driving...

I’d say so. 27mm more poke than the stock Austins.

I should've clarified. I have the Nogaros :)

Also that fitment calculator already assumes the wheels are flush, does it not? There's quite a bit of room to play with on a stock suspension.

Might look ok in rear but front will poke. It won't be awful. Enjoy the wheels.

Thanks!

Brandon from VMR had this to say.
"We have quite a few customers who go with the ET35 on the MK7, however, the front is slightly aggressive and will likely require the fender screw mod to gain a few mm of clearance. The ET35 fits perfectly in the rear, just not the front. The 225/40/18 works just fine also, but many choose the 235."

Aren’t the Nogaros the same spec as the Austins?

So they way I see it, it’s kind of like running the Austins with 25mm spacers on all 4 corners. Most spacer flush kits for the Austins are 15mm front and 20mm rear. That’s all I was comparing against. NBD I suppose.

Great choice of wheel BTW. Love those 710s.
