I'm aware that there are already some threads like this, but they are few and far between, and often very outdated. I've checked out many of the 1.8s being built though I'd love to have a dedicated place for everyone to see them!

Nothing wrong with a 1.8, I honestly would rather have several things off a standard golf over my gti. Front bumper and grille looks so much better IMO, I was never a fan of honeycomb

I’ve always envied the sportiness that comes with the GTI and R, the stock TSI just feels so boring in comparison, like a proper economy car

I only had this car a year, and I do miss it! My 1.8 was mostly stock with 18" oem wheels, NSPM, and DG springs.

I would have kept this as my daily if I had the budget to make that happen.
