Can anyone confirm: Is the 2x4 method possible on a DCC car? Or do i just need a 2x2 to clear? Lol. Thanks!

Are the VWR springs good for the TSI Golf too?

Yes:

If you want something with slightly less drop and perhaps more warranty friendly, VW Driver Gear springs are another good choice:

These two are the most recommended options if you plan to keep the rest of the suspension hardware in stock form.

I chose the DG's since I drive in winter conditions and bad roads. Been great for me over the past year since installed...never bottoms out and sits at stock Golf R height. I do like the looks with the VWR's better, but they are a bit too low for my preference given our road conditions. I do hear folks saying they bottom out once in a while, but nothing major I'm sure...just have to be a bit more careful.

Just a quick question, I'm about to buy these Thursday when I get paid and I seen a video on YouTube where a guy said if you shave down the "bump stops" a bit you can go a bit lower on lower springs. What'd does this mean and is it even really possible? Here's the dub before. Ill post before and after pics too after I get them on.

Just installed my VWR springs in my 2015 6 speed MT 3 door myself. I think it sits pretty perfect and the ride quality is great! I have only put a couple hundred miles on them but it defiantly feels flatter around corners and reduced body roll. I highly recommend the Audi tt rear coil pads, makes the car sit perfect and they were only $24 from ecstuning. Part # for them is in my signature.

For the Picture with 3 stack on top of one another the top one is stock height when I first got the car, middle is with the fronts installed only, and bottom is all 4 corners installed and how it sits now. I'll post again after the springs settle.

Edit: I also installed ECS tuning's Heavy duty strut mount and strut bearing for the fronts. It was very good quality and I would defiantly recommend them. I was over 26k on this car so I thought it would be good to swap them out and i'm glad I did.

Also for the people doing the install them selves I found it easier to take off the 3 16mm nuts holding the ball joint to the lower control arm so you can easily take the spindle off of the strut. Just be careful and HANG UP the spindle on the sub frame or control arm, sort of how you would hang up the caliper doing brakes. Once its loose it will drop and rip your brake lines on the way to the floor. Just take your time, make sure you double and triple check everything, be safe, and have a friend there to give you a hand. The torque spec on the ball joint nuts is 100nm and u can reuse them as they are not torque to yield.

i know alot of springs have reverse rake issues which would kill me if i had that happen.
has anyone tried putting a adjuster in the back? i have a blown set of racelands around from my buddies mk6 and i was thinking about using the height adjusters in the back with a set of springs to make sure it sits the way id like

I would guess that the adjusters will raise the rear even at the lowest setting.
The length of spring is normally considered in respect to the adjuster height.
In this case, VWR length does not account for adjuster size.

VWR springs

Note: Unbeknown to me, the factory shipping pucks were still on the OEM front springs when I picked the car up from the dealership; this is why the front looks jacked up in the before pic. So you can imagine how much nicer the ride was after the lowering springs were installed.
