APR boost gauge

Does anyone know if APR has fixed ticking noise coming from the needle of the boost gauge?

I bought mine end of last year and its "rrrrRRRRrrrRRRRRrrrRRRRRRR" every morning at idle. If you have a quiet car and you appreciate chill rides to work in silence in the morning then the APR gauge is not for you. Some people say theirs isn't that bad but I think they just don't have the hearing sensitivity.

It makes me regret getting it slightly, but the no-tamper harness, not having to route a vacuum line into the cabin, and the fit and finish somewhat makes it worth the mild annoyance.

The stepper motor is what makes noise. Mine does.
