Found a pic of my old Suzuki Carry.
Fond memory of driving along and feeling my ass getting burned.
Slam on brakes, pull over. Turns out radiator hose burst. Btw, engine is under the front seats.

I had a sportwagen diesel which I traded for... a Mark VII golf! I went in for a recall and an oil change and left with a Mark VII GTI Autobahn. I loved my little Golf Launch, but I just wanted more car.

Had a Passat B6 for 6 yrs, sold it last year and got a GTI MK7. People around me said I am capricious.
BTW, I want to stop spending money on my car, but this forum is not helping!!

1990 VW Corrado G60 (my first car)
1997 BMW M3 Coupe (replaced the Corrado)
2006 BMW M3 Convertible (replaced the other M3 after a run in with black ice... still heartbroken)
2002 BMW 325xi (Daily driver w/ the M3)
And the 2017 GTI SE is the new daily and the M3 is strictly the sunny weather/fun car.
