DSG fluid change ?

Hello,

I recently bought a 16 GTI DSG. It had almost 16k on it and I had asked about doing the trans fluid change and the dealer said its due every 40k and Volkswagon as well. Forums say every 20 k?

I don't drive too aggressively a lot, occasionally I will but mostly just daily driving.

I just hit 20k on it. Should I change it or should I be ok according to Volkswagon?

I have never once seen that it needs to be changed at 20k. It's 40K, and many people do it at 60 with no issues.

Don't waste your time or money. This tranny has been around awhile and they are very robust. Stick to 40k.

Just hit 33K, getting close. Look forward to the DIY.
