GTD door trim Lights?

I am swapping my boring silver interior trim over to a bit of a customised GTD trim, have the doors to do now but I have a question, hopefully someone knows the answer to.
Does the GTD door trim have an LED strip in it? The section that surrounds the mirror adjustment knob, there's a connector coming out behind the trim and looks like it must be a light?
If it does how can I connect this up in my TDI 4motion that doesn't have the strip?

Yes, it does have.
I think you'd need new door modules to connect it in oem way if you don't have it from factory. Otherwise you could splice power in some other light source that's always on with ignition (maybe button ilumination for switches).

Does sound like it wouldn't be easy to do diy. Haven't had a proper chance to research it yet
