Tow bar advice needed

I have the need to fit a towbar to my 2.0 tdi. I've found a genuine VW on eBay and was wondering if anyone knows what the best way to add a trailer socket is. I've looked at a dedicated kit and it says that coding is mandatory but the local dealer weren't much help on the phone. Also does anyone know if the release handle can be easily added to the car or not. Many thanks for any help

VCDS coding will be required for any kit...best get on to the ross tech site or the Skoda forum site Briskoda which has a list of users who have vcds for UK

It is a bumper off job & the handle can be fitted as there are etka diagrams etc for it.
