Lug bolts for Pretorias and Austins

I am replacing my stock Austins with Pretorias on my 2016 GTI. Came to TireRack to get the new wheels istalled and looks like they are having issues in the wheel lug bolts. I am being told stock GTI lug bolts are shorter to accomodate the wheel hub thickness of the Pretorias.

I called my dealership and i was told lug bolts for GTI and R are the same.

Do i need to go for a longer bolts to accomodate Pretoria wheel hub thickness.

I tried looking for this and did not have a concrete solution.

I did the same wheel swap, re-used everything from the stock Austins.

Thank you for the quick response.

VW parts list says lug bolts are the same for GTI and R. I tried explaining this to TireRack. But they are not willing to install the Pretoria with stock lug bolts because only 6 threads are engaging. They do not want to be liable for any safety issues.
