No because this steering wheel is an oddball that I didn't know about. It has this euro ACC/Speed Limiter function that normal US Golfs don't get. I guess VW messed up and installed it on the previous owner's car. So now, I dont have any CC because the coding is wrong.

Two steps to take: Buy the correct switches which means I now overpaid for this wheel, or try and figure out the coding.

I know skvveedubr swapped wheels and had to fit the buttons/modules from the Golf into the new wheel to get full functionality.

That's what I am thinking as well. too much gap with that low profile tires.

Coding won't work. ACC/Non ACC buttons are entirely different and will not work properly on each other.. Fortunately the buttons are relatively cheap. You appear to have the 5G0959442M buttonset. Based on the picture of your original steering wheel the buttonset you actually need is part number 5G0959442S.

PS: I'm good friends with the owner of the car your seats are going into I wish I would have known the car still had the brakes. Are they still available?
