Halogen headlight adjustment screw

I want to adjust my halogen headlights slightly higher. Is the plastic cream colored screw on top the assembly the correct screw? If so, which way to turn for up? Clockwise or counter clockwise? Thanks.

Just did the same on my '15 TSi with the Xenons with AFS, and mine had the inner adjuster as shown in the post above. The housing is marked as to which way is down & up. I just checked on mine which shows clockwise is up. YMMV

Driver's (LH) side - the markings are a bit hidden but are the same:


And for others out there, yes I did use OBDEleven to put it in Basic Headlamp Setting mode before making adjustments, then Acknowledge afterward to clear the error. I don't think you need to do this on halogens.
