Safe or not safe?

I was looking at local ad and found old oz rims.
Now one of them has damage on the centre, where the caps usually go on (see photos). I heard these light weight rims are more susceptible to damage and I don't think i should pull the trigger. Does this kind of damage will jeopardize the structure of the rim and safety?

Thanks in advance!

If it were me, I'd walk. Why take an avoidable chance?

I would pass.
As you already said, Ultraleggera's can be prone to cracking.
Especially where the spoke meets the lip of the wheel and along the inner barrel.
So seeing damage like that, I would not be surprised if there was more damage elsewhere.
And besides, if I recall correctly, you will need hub-centric rings for these to fit properly and with that sort of damage to the hub of the wheel that could possibly be an issue.

Take this from a person who has owned a set.
Great wheels though when they are in good shape!
