I know that this is a very old thread, but it's well indexed by Google, so I want to clear some things up for anyone that visits this link for retrofit parts reference.

This was not MIB2 Discover Media. This was MIB2 Composition Media.
Discover Media is GPS navigation system, would have NAV button and 2x SD card port on the main unit.
Composition Media is a non-GPS navigation system, it has MUTE button instead of NAV button and it has just a single SD card port.
