Or maybe a better title, "Growing Hatch Market in USA?".

Is the Hatch Back market going to grow along with SUV market?
Last night I noticed a new hatchback in the Walmart parking lot. Thought it was a Focus but thought it looked different. I live in a small town so this car may not be new to most but it was the first time I have seen one.
It was a Chevy Cruze Hatchback. In yellow gold under the light it looked nice.
On line I read it also comes in a 1.6L turbo diesel.
Not in a GTI class but I like that more hatchback are in the market as this will keep VW improving the Golf and maybe offering more in future years.
This new hatch along with the Hyundai N30 (not sold here yet) the market is heating up.

Ford is having a hard time selling the Focus hatch, and they're pulling the Fiesta from the US market. Apparently most consumers would rather have a micro-SUV with more ground clearance.

Small SUVs...for when you want the worst of both worlds.

Not fun to drive, and almost no utility.
