53 when I bought it. Got the millennial anti theft device too (6 MT). Always enjoyed driving stick. I have motorcycle and 3500 1 ton diesel too. GTI is my weekend fun toy. I get to drive wife's 2012 370Z with sports package but in auto the car isn't as fun.
Anyway, my GTI is fun for an old guy. Just past 7k in miles. Purchased new in Nov 2016.

I am 49 and currently drive a 2017 GTI SE Mk7 w/ an APR Stage Tune. Since high school I have owned a Rabbit Convertible, 2 GTI and 1 Jetta TDI all manual drive.
