Im thinking about a stage 1 for my 1.4 tsi, either APR or Revo etc... Whats your guys opinion on this? Some guys were saying to me it can be harmful to my engine because its relatively small...

Its 140 BHP and would probably touch 183 after the map.

If APR or Unitronic makes a tune for your specific car, then I wouldn't worry. You take a chance, but most likely the tune at stage 1 will be just fine to live with.
