Since you're actually in the thread I posted, you can see there are some variations for trap speeds. Just look at the tippy top of the 11s where you sit:
14.) 11.959 @ 111.54 MPH / 1.759 / MK 7 R / EA888 / Stock Turbo / DSG / 93 / 3340 / Stock OEM / APR Stage 2 Medium Torque 93 With DSG Tune / 630 Feet Elevation / 13E7
15.) 11.962@114.62 / 1.778 / MK7 R/ EA888 / Stock Turbo / DSG / 93 OCT / Stock Weight / Stock OEM Wheels & Tires / APR Stage 1/ Ken Newberry (2015 Golf R)
16.) 11.992 @ 112.84 / 1.758 / 2015 MK7 R / EA888 / Stock Turbo / DSG / 93 OCT with E25 mix / Stock+155 / 19'' Yokohama S-drives / APR Stage 2 High TQ / mkIIISC
17.) 11.995 @ 114.09/ 1.796 / Mk7 R / EA888 / stock turbo / DSG / 93 / approx. 3580 / Michelin PSS 235-40-18 / APR stage 2 high torque ECU+TCU / 119 ft / tzoo
18.) 11.995@113.25 / 1.762 / Mk7 R / EA888 / stock turbo / DSG / 93 / stock wheels and tires / APR stage 2 medium torque ECU+TCU / 650ft / CrunkGoat
19.) 11.996 @ 113.43 MPH / 1.723 60' / Mk7 R / EA888 / IS38 / DSG /93 octane / 3420bs / All seasons / Euro Dyne Stage 1.5 / 65 feet elevation / Mk72015
Trap speeds are a good measure of out right power, and for some cars it'll show where you are weak, usually off the line due to traction. When you have an AWD car with launch control and good tires, it's more of a measure of your overall setup (e.g. tire size, pressure, vehicle weight, redline, shift points, wind speeds/directions).
When you can nail a 1.7 60' consistently, you 1/4 times are going to be consistent, but your trap might float a bit.
