Couple features to be aware of.
One feature I love in the CX9 is the sliding 2nd row bench. We have ours all the way back with a booster on one side and regular car seat on the other and you can push the front seats back as much as you want. This is not something I actively looked for, but moving forward definitely a requirement. Then when it comes to putting an adult in the third row, you can move the 2nd row up a little.
2nd thing which is not a big deal if you don't regularly use the 3rd row (which we do) is cargo room behind the 3rd row. Can you fit a stroller back there. Recommend taking it with you to the dealership and testing.
Unfortunately, that puts the GM twins (Enclave & Traverse) at the front with the most cargo room. Acadia is now on a different platform and is much smaller. Durango is next but much smaller. Then comes Pilot, pathfinder etc.
But this should be on Atlas post, not Tiguan. Oh well.
