I thought the flicker was there too but tbh when the choice is lights with barely noticable flicker or no lights, i'll take the flicker. Found out the quote from dealer for £676 was just the parts, and they told her it couldn't be done and wouldn't work, shows what they know!

They replied asking for photos and I sent them. I'm going to be upset if I don't get the replacement soon. I guess the only saving grace is that I'm still waiting on the harness which is not likely to arrive till early September.

Do you think they will want the wrong part back? I'm sure not going to pay to ship it back.

That I don't know. Hopefully they pay for shipping if they do ask for the part back.

Since mine was damaged, they didn't want it back, BUT they filed a shipping damage claim with the Latvia post, who filed a claim with USPS, and now USPS is asking me to show the box, packaging, and damaged part to a post office so they can verify everything. I haven't done this b/c I don't have time, and my damaged part is already installed lol.

I noted to follow up with them b/c of my experience (http://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?p=491957) and JBale's experience he mentions 2 posts later.

At least in the United States they cannot force you to ship it back, federal law. However they should offer to pay for it and you should then ship it back for free. They do need to send you the right part as well.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I'm about to order the tails, but just want to make sure it comes with all the bulbs necessary, and if I can take my led reverse light out of my previous generation led tail lights.

All diodes look entirely built in, including the LED reverse light, which is way brighter than the halogens in the stock halogen lights

Ok, final question before I hit "order". Does it look weird to not have the rear fog lights in the space designated for it? I don't plan on ever running anything from the BCM to the tails just to have the rear fogs work but if it looks better to have them there, even if they are not functional, I will do that.

If there isn't a big difference in look, I'll just grab the non-fog versions and be done with it.
