no, I'm using the flywheel that came on car... it only has 4500 miles on it with no slippage at the moment so it should be ok. I think the clutch is rated for 405 ft lbs

Fairly new to the VW turbo engine. I know the turbo muffler doesn't need a tune or anything else, but does the atmospheric blow off need one?
And if it doesn't "need" a tune, "should" it have a tune ideally?

Don't get a BOV. The ECU bleeds boost as part of it's tuning so you will hear the BOV randomly go off all the time.
I'm lost.

You realize our cars don't come with a blow off valve and just a dv right? They sound nothing at all like the same thing. Not even close. I've heard people say "don't get a BOV just get an open intake it's the same thing" that too is false.
You people need to do your research before giving advice because neither of those two stories even sound remotely the same.
