I bought new emblems from UroTuning, they are on sale for $40 right now for both (front and rear).
I read that people had messed up their chrome emblems trying to remove them for painting, so I just decided to just buy black ones.
They have been on the car almost two years with no chipping or fading so far.
The front "GTI" emblem is just hand-painted.
What paint did you use on the GTI badge? Mine are currently plasti dipped, but I'm going to get black gloss VW emblems and the color matching inlays.
