Hello guys,

Here are eBay LED Lights on my MK7 GTI! No Error Code (VCDS Clear)

I didn't see the benefit of paying 30$ for two LED the reason you get an error code is because the car is programmed not to see the LED and that's what you tell the car via VCDS "It's okay G, you can handle led"

2. You will still see the error code in your dash after this but here's how you make sure it goes away.

- Car, Settings, Factory Rest the Lights (Check light is still there, I know.)
- Turn your light switch to the "OFF" position
- Car, Settings, Factory Rest the Lights (Check light is still there, I know.)
- Turn your car "OFF", Walk 30 Feet away from your car (Key Cycle)
- Come back in the car and turn it on (Lights are still "OFF") Now you well see that the error is not there BUT, if you turn your lights on it come back! SO Don't touch them right yet.

Go in your radio--> Car, Settings, Factory Rest the Lights and turn your switch Automatic and Voila!

Our customer created that VCD step by step to clear out codes, too much blue tint though, crisp classy white is a better look:

If you don't have VCDs - you can choose the error free plug & play resistor option - much easier if you don't have access to VCDs
