Would this Mod be allowed for Leased car?

Hi might be a stupid question but I was looking at installing LED bulbs (http://deautokey.com/product/mkvii-gti-license-plate-leds-error-free-plug-play)
to replace the OEM bulbs used head of the license plate. They bring about noticeable differences at night.

Can I install these LED bulbs on a leased car and change it back to OEM when I return? They seem like an easy install but I am not sure if It's okay..

Well, I think it depends on the dealership you leased from. HOWEVER, you are SUPPOSED to return the leased car as it was leased when you signed. So any changes must be turned back to whatever the OEM is.

I doubt the dealer will install it for you. You can always search VW Vortex for DIY instructions.

I've seen people bag leased cars with the intention of either reverting back to stock or buying it out at the end.

Let me know if they are truly "error free plug and play" when you install them. I also wanted to order this, but I was afraid I might get an error etc.
