P0087 Code During Track Day

Hey All,

Followed everyone's advice and decided to keep up the track time in the R. Deviated from everyone's advice though and was temped by the ability to run E85, gas here is getting expensive again, & installed an Autotech HPFP & updated my tune with an EQT 91 Octane STG 2 HPFP OTS tune to support it.

All appeared to be well and good since install (2 weeks or so ago), power felt strong, and all the pulls I have done prior didn't show any signs of problems. First session continued to be problem free, however, in my 2nd session on track AP logged a Knock Retard Average of 6 degrees of timing and cut power right after a long straight, immediately after the car threw a CEL; which turned out to be the P0087 Low Fuel Pressure Rail code. Unfortunately, I was not logging at the time.

I took a cool down lap and worked my way back to the paddock, where I performed a visual inspection and checked for any fuel leaks or visible issues. None to be found.

Since then, I cleared the code and made my way home and gathered a few logs that I wanted to share and see if you guys are seeing something I am not.

That was my only idea. On pump gas, you shouldn't have any fuel supply issues and those logs look fine. Unless recently the autotech internals have started to fail or something like that. But seems unlikely if this was a one off thing.

Actually, I reviewed the videos and it was further below 3/4 and a lot closer to 1/2. I think you're on the money after giving it some more thought.

Right after the straight is a heavy braking zone into back to back corners, I bet tank surge is the issue. Thanks!
