I totally would, but with how rare manuals are for MK3s, which manuals are compatible? Definitely something I need to look into.... A manual MK3 TTRS would be the dream. Edit: Just remembered there are a lot more available manuals from Europe so importing a manual gearbox may be an option.

Yea, unfortunately resealing the cam cover is not a small job and requires pulling the timing chain off the cam gears. When you do it go ahead and replace the timing chain and be sure to program the ECU through VCDS or OBD11.
