Mk7 R slips into nuetral while driving, gives error code.

The transmission workshop cleared all the codes and could not replicate the issue after a week or driving a couple of times every day. @ATR what is the thread you mentioned please?

Mk7 R slips into nuetral while driving, gives error code.

Out of warranty. I took it to a local transmission specialist. They ran diagnostics and it shows an electronic issue, not mechanical. Fingers crossed it is not overly complicated. Nor expensive.:p

Mk7 R slips into nuetral while driving, gives error code.

This first happened about 2 weeks ago and scared the sh!t out of me. Was in 2nd or 3rd (low speed) and the car dropped into neutral and message "Service Transmission" (or suchlike) displayed. Warranty denied…as I did not put enough mileage on car

Battery failed on the weekend. My dealer told me that as I have only done 16,xxxkm in 2.5 years the battery did not have the opportunity to charge. $250 for a new battery and install later… I understand that a battery needs to be charged and that short trips ain’t good for it, but still kinda sux.

2 years Stock R - went to Stage 1 APR yesterday

Put 15,000 clicks on my white DGS over the last 2 years and loved it. Pulled the trigger on APR Stage 1 high-torque with DSG mod and APR downpipe yesterday. Difference is, well, significant. :o Anyone here have the same set up? Wondering if there is noticeable difference in MPG?

    APR flashback before service

I want to Stage 1 my R. I know that VW can tell if the car has been flashed. Do you guys take your vehicles back to the APR dealer to have it reverted before getting your car serviced? cheers! Oldorange
